Meet our Organist | St. Mary's, an Episcopal-Lutheran Community

Jennings Trawick has been involved in church music for over 40 years as a choral director and pianist/organist. The last ten years she has enjoyed working with members at St. Mary’s.

Jennings has a Bachelor of Music Degree from UNC-G and a Master of Liberal Studies from UNC-W. She has participated in many choral workshops and conferences through the years. She sang with the North Carolina Baptist Singers for about 10 years and has been a member of Cape Fear Chorale in Wilmington for 23 years.

She and her husband, Gary Trawick, have three children and eight grandchildren with whom they love spending time.

The mission of St. Mary's Episcopal-Lutheran Community, Burgaw, is to witness the love of God in Christ for all people. To this end we commit ourselves to faithful worship as we gather together around Word and Sacrament, share our resources with those in need and invite all to share our life in Christ.

Episcopalians have worshiped at St. Mary’s for over 100 years! Now offering both Episcopalian and Lutheran services, St. Mary's supports the local community through participation in the Wounded Warriors Project and other outreach initiatives.
